We take Responsibility

An intact environment is a prerequisite for life on our planet. To actively contribute to Agenda 2030 and the resulting goals for sustainable development, our actions are in harmony with humans and nature. Because for us, sustainability entails not only compensating for emissions but also securing the lives of future generations. We take responsibility for our actions – find out how.

Our Mission

We are convinced that our sector possesses the necessary elements for sustainable business. Therefore, sustainability is one of the three central pillars at recozy, alongside technology and design.

Circular Economy at recozy

The resources on our planet are valuable and finite. Resources that have been used once are rarely reused. We are changing that.

Any questions?

How does recozy recycle my product?

As part of the recozy Exchange Program, recozy design objects can be returned to us at the end of their life cycle. We handle the shipping and thank you with a voucher. Afterwards, we ensure that the products are disassembled into their parts and that the components are separated. Recycled plastics and composites, which make up the majority of the design objects, are recycled and processed by partners and returned to us. Find out more

How does the recozy Exchange Program work?

Either scan the NFC tag directly if it is a piece of furniture and follow the steps under the "Recycling" section or use the alternative version:

1. Registration

Send an email to hello@recozy.de and let us know which product it is.

2. Shipping Label & Discount

We will send you a shipping label. Once the product arrives, you will receive the Exchange discount for your next order.

3. Recycle & Reuse

Recycled plastics and composite materials, the main components of our products, are recycled and processed by our partners for reuse and sent back to us. Components such as textile cables or glass inserts are checked for quality and reused if possible. Otherwise, we take care of proper disposal.

How sustainable is 3D printing?

Additive manufacturing is energy- and resource-efficient. A standard 3D printer today requires significantly less than 100 watts per hour. We further reduce energy consumption through adjustments to software and hardware. In 3D printing, there is hardly any waste – products are produced precisely to the gram without generating large amounts of waste. If there are any misprints or when creating prototypes, we have the materials recycled and prepared for reuse by our partners.
